We celebrate the New Year on January 1st, but astrologically, we begin our new yearly cycle on March 20th, the first day of Aries Season. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. Closing out the murky waters of Pisces season, we BURST onto the scene alongside the blooming of Spring. If Pisces is the womb, Aries is the birth canal.
Aries energy is both the baby and the boss. It wants to be in charge of everything and everyone, but is still accident prone and likely to shout expletives when something goes awry.
That said, they’re lovable leaders, because despite their hot tempers…they’re childlike, and you almost end up feeling bad when they get upset! A dangerous Aries will exploit that knowledge and throw unnecessary temper tantrums to get their way.
Aries is associated with the first house of the birth chart, meaning simply: “I Am.” It is self-focused, but at its best, displays an entrepreneurial spirit that others will be keen to follow. Aries is the quintessential individual.
Aries is ruled by Mars, which is all about brute force and passion. Like the Ram, Aries people will not back down from a fight, so it’s important that they decide what is truly worth fighting for.
During Aries season, we all get a bit of its fiery gumption. It’s not the best time to navigate traffic jams or anything that requires an extended attention-span (patience will be at an all time LOW), but if you’re wanting to begin something new and fresh, now is the perfect time to spearhead it.
This is a period ripe with beginnings, but that definitely doesn’t always equal completion. Mars is a quick energy, not necessarily longstanding. Take some time to think about what you can realistically complete alone, and where you might need some help in reaching the finish line.
Aries season is about following your gut.
Generally, Pisces is a sign that’s able to get along with most people. It’s the final sign in the zodiac, and because of that…it seems to carry a little piece of every sign that came before it– making it extremely relatable.
If you know any Pisces people, you may marvel at how well they’re able to float between social groups and different types of people. Pisces is a mutable sign, and very much embodies “going with the flow” depending on who they happen to be around in the moment.
Pisces is also a water sign, so they’re adept at reflecting the people around them. Their own identity might be more diffuse and harder to pin down because, knowingly or not, they have a way of mirroring their surroundings.
Read on to learn all about Piscean compatibility, whether romantic, familial, or platonic.
Pisces and Aries aren’t the most natural fit. The end meets the beginning! These two signs operate from very different base lines and might be prone to some friction. Pisces is soft and yielding, while Aries is a brash go-getter. Pisces will probably find Aries’ gumption amusing, though, and giggle about them getting frustrated over what they consider insignificant. Both signs do have the ability to stand apart from the crowd, though, and will appreciate each other’s more unique qualities.
Pisces and Taurus appreciate the beauty in each other. Pisces is a water sign and Taurus is an earth sign, so there’s an inherent understanding between them. Taurus appreciates Pisces creativity and other-worldly beauty while Pisces appreciates Taurus’ ability to keep it real. However, Pisces could also be frustrated by Taurus’ propensity for digging in and not being able to change its mind so easily. These two can learn a lot from each other.
Pisces and Gemini can have great times together. Gemini doesn’t naturally go as deep as Pisces, preferring to keep things light and fun, but if this is a more casual relationship, these two can have a great time together. They’re both mutable signs, meaning they’re comfortable changing their minds and will appreciate that trait in each other.
Pisces and Cancer make one of the best matches in the zodiac. They’re both water signs, so this pairing is especially emotional and intuitive. They seem to be able to read each other’s minds without having to use words. Of course, that can be slippery, if they start to expect mind reading without any communication! But overall, these two make an especially loving and empathetic partnership that want to take care of each other.
Pisces and Leo are two of the great artists of the zodiac and might meet while practicing their craft. They will appreciate the creativity that each other possess, and can lean into making things bolder, louder, and more dramatic together. Leo might expect more individualized attention than Pisces is willing to give, though, as Pisces most easily dolls out its affections for the collective at large. If both signs can keep their egos in check, they can be each other’s biggest cheerleaders.
Pisces and Virgo are the definition of when opposites attract. They are quite literally opposite each other on the zodiacal wheel, and thus become like two sides of the same coin. They are likely to either be drawn to each other…or repel each other! And even more likely, both! Pisces learns important discernment lessons from Virgo, and Virgo can learn how to lighten up and live more in the moment with Pisces. It’s a paradoxical pairing that will be full of lessons and growth if they both stay open.
Pisces and Libra appreciate beautiful things together. These two can enjoy hours at an art museum or going to the movies together. Trouble could arise, though, if cohabiting. Libra appreciates a clean and trendy aesthetic, while Pisces can find beauty in chaos and be much more quirky. If they can embrace the softer spots of one another without trying to convert them to their specific taste, they’re golden.
Pisces and Scorpio are able to read between the lines. There could easily be secrets between them, as Pisces sometimes struggles with what’s true in reality and Scorpio just doesn’t want to tell you! But if they’re able to be vulnerable, they’ll find they easily relate on a lot of different subjects. These are two highly feeling people that have a lot of love to give. Pisces in particular is able to teach Scorpio a lot about trust and adaptability.
Pisces and Sagittarius make everything bigger together. They’re both ruled by Jupiter…so this pair is likely to share a disregard for boundaries. That can lead to epic adventures, or misadventures if they aren’t aware of their surroundings. Either way, they make great cheerleaders for each other and can remind one another to zoom out and appreciate the big picture.
Pisces and Capricorn aren’t the most common pair. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter, that’s all about pushing boundaries, and Capricorn is ruled by Saturn…that’s all about enforcing them. This collaboration can easily morph into a parent/child dynamic, with Capricorn trying to control while Pisces rebels. If patience can be cultivated, they both stand to learn a lot over time.
Pisces and Aquarius don’t always see eye to eye…but they can easily look towards the future together. While they’re ruled by very different planets (Jupiter and Saturn) they both have an ability to access what others can’t quite see yet. This is a very progressive pairing that possesses both great empathy and action for improving the collective. Aquarius takes a more logical approach while Pisces is a big feeler, but if they can combine their strengths they can make a huge impact.
Pisces and Pisces are living in a world of their own imaginations. Two people of the same sign can either attract or repel each other. Often, there’s an initial attraction because there are plenty of similarities between the two, but if one of the people has done more shadow work than the other…there could be a mirroring influence that’s unpleasant for the other person. Comparison is all too easy for this pair, so it’s important that rather than lecture on work that hasn’t been done, they appreciate how they’re showing up in the moment.
Our Lead Astrologer, Erin River Sunday, writes these horoscopes based on your Sun and Rising/Ascendant sign. Don’t know your Rising Sign? The Birthdate Book can help!
It’s time to get serious about release, Aries. Lean into your intuition this season and allow yourself to go with the flow. You don’t have to force what’s right. Generally speaking, this is a quiet season for you. And you don't always like the quiet! Your season is just around the corner, though, and it will not only be full of eclipses...but also a Mercury Retrograde in your home sign. Consider this season a period to reserve your strength for what's just ahead.
Take a close look at your communities this season, Taurus, because it’s time to get serious about who is in your life and why. If people fall away, it’s for a reason. There will be more intensity to come in Aries season just around the corner, so let your friends be a salve to relax into over the coming weeks. Enjoy their company and trust them to provide a lot of the stability you crave.
Gear up for things getting public for you this season, Gemini. Whether you’re busy with work or gaining attention for something else, let yourself be seen in a serious light. There’s a lot of energy building for Aries season still ahead, so take the coming weeks at work with a grain of salt. It might not be impossibly difficult now— so why go looking for trouble if there isn’t any? What do people say…if it’s not broken, don’t fix it!
Ready, set, go! This season is the time to book that ticket, Cancer, and decidedly explore some uncharted territory. It’s ok to take exploration seriously. You should relish in any time away now, because come Aries season, your career might feel like it’s on fire! This moment could feel like a little rest and relaxation away before the busy season begins at the office. Let your intuition steer this ship.
It’s a season of change for you, Leo, and the best way to handle it is to practice surrender. Let go of what’s no longer serving you, and embrace the support that does. The upcoming Aries season promises to be especially loud…and for you it’s a clear signal that you’re clearing space for what’s to come over the next few months. Trust that any difficult closures over the coming weeks will pay off by mid-year.
Commitment is the name of the game for you this season, Virgo. Notice the people you’re in partnership with and celebrate how they mirror your own experiences. If there was ever a time to say YES to the dress (or to the pet!) it’s over the next few weeks. You’ll be feeling especially supported in your one on one connections, so lean into the people that feel like home. You might have quite the transformation arriving in Aries season, and the things you’re signing on the dotted line for now will be a big reason why.
You’re getting back to work in a serious way this season, Libra. Get out your cutest pens and pencils and clear the clutter from your life– literally and figuratively! Nothing in astrology is a coincidence, so trust that you’re getting yourself into tip top shape this season for all the intensity that awaits in your partnerships in Aries season. When you feel your best, you’ll be that much better within your commitments.
You’re feeling flirty this season, Scorpio, so don’t be afraid to let your freak flag fly. When you focus on pleasing your inner-child first, sparks will arrive naturally. Aries season will have a few surprises in store, so now is the time to have fun and let loose before getting a bit more serious next month. Say “YES!” If someone asks you out, and enjoy riding the waves of your creative outlets.
Every Sagittarius needs a home base (even if it’s constantly changing) and this season centers you in yours. Notice your behavior when you’re able to come home to yourself. Every season has a way of informing the one that follows it, and this year’s Aries season is extremely charged. Enjoy the next several weeks of relaxing on the Homefront, because you’re going to get much busier soon!
You’re set to be busy around town this season, Capricorn, and don’t be surprised when you have plenty of friends wanting to join. Enjoy the local scene. You might be gearing up for a big move next season (knowingly or otherwise!) so really pay attention to what makes you happy day to day in your environment. Lean on your closest allies, which might include siblings, for important insights over the coming weeks.
Your resources are maturing this season, Aquarius, and it’s because you’re beginning to access your power in fundamentally new ways. Ride the waves of your shifting values. The most important focus for you this season is exploring your relationship to support. How do you support yourself, and how do others support you in return? You’re building strong foundations in this area of life— the choices you make now will stay with you.
Happy birthday, Pisces! You’re known as the zodiac’s ethereal dreamer, but you’re also being taken more seriously than ever. Lean into your traits that make you feel strong. This season it’s all about you, so don’t be afraid to bask in the spotlight! You might feel the sudden urge for an upgrade to your wardrobe or hairstyle, and it should be indulged! Enjoy the new foundations you’re setting…inside and out.

Pisces is ready to help us transcend everything external and tune back into our inner realms.
What can you prepare to release over the coming weeks, so that you'll be ready to start something completely new? Before we can enter the next phase of our lives, we must drift away into the liminal space of our subconscious.
While it’s impossible to process everything right now, we can process a lot more than we probably give ourselves credit for...because we can do hard things! Pisces knows that, because while it’s just one thing, it’s also ALL the things! It’s the last zodiac sign and has experienced a little taste of every single energy before it. It’s neither here nor there…it’s everywhere.
We celebrate the New Year on January 1st, but astrologically, we begin our new yearly cycle on March 20th.
So if you feel like you’re starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but you know you’re just not quite there yet, that’s perfectly normal. As is any other feeling you might be experiencing! This season is just about acknowledging all of it.
Where do you tend to evade reality, and is it serving you?
The high vibe expression of Pisces finds ways to integrate that “higher mind” with the real world rather than trying to leave it. Virgo is the other sign on the Pisces axis, so if you feel yourself drifting too far away...MAKE A LIST to come back down to Earth.
Positive manifestations of this energy: Meditation, Yin Yoga, Hypnosis, Reiki, Tarot
We’re now swimming in the ending in anticipation of the beginning...a beginning that feels strangely familiar. If nothing else, practice gratitude for your life vest(s) that keep you afloat!
SIGN: Aquarius
ELEMENT: Air
PLANETARY RULER: Saturn in Pisces
DEGREE: 20°
DATE: Friday, February 9th, 2024
TIME: 5:58 pm EST
New Moons are a time to initiate manifestation. This is a moment to plant seeds.
Aquarius energy, at its best, is a progressive thinker. It abhors being tied down…but can also be stubborn when it believes in something. There’s a balance between bucking the status quo and creating something new and interesting that’s built to last.
The ruler of this New Moon is Saturn in Pisces, and it’s sextile Jupiter in Taurus. Venus is also trine Uranus, Mercury is square Jupiter, and the Sun and Moon are square Uranus. Translation? Expect BIG, SURPRISING CONVERSATIONS to begin stirring around this date. It’s a safe bet to expect the unexpected and to embrace anything that’s funky or a bit out of your comfort zone. While events around this date are likely to strike like lightning…have no doubt that any storms unfolding have been brewing for awhile…and are ultimately meant to carry us towards our destiny.
It’s also helpful to make a note of the corresponding Aquarius Full Moon that will happen on August 19th, 2024. Whatever seeds you’re deciding to plant now will reach a new point of growth in their life cycle around that time.
SIGN: Leo
ELEMENT: Fire
PLANETARY RULER: Sun in Aquarius
DEGREE: 5°
DATE: Thursday, January 25th, 2024
TIME: 12:53 PM EST
Astrologically, Full Moons are a moment of surrender and release. This is not a time for manifestation, but a chance to reap what you’ve sown the past six months in the Leo area of your birth chart.
Leo energy, at its best, knows how to lead with the heart. Ruled by the Sun, it’s often mistakenly understood as being ego driven, but it’s really about centering authenticity and showing up with vulnerability.
This is a very hopeful and optimistic Full Moon, as both the Sun and Moon are in a tight square to abundant Jupiter. Because Pluto has recently entered Aquarius, it’s likely to also feel immensely transformative. There’s a reflective quality that encourages us to acknowledge how we’ve (perhaps creatively) come into our power over the past 6 months.
Think back to the corresponding Leo New Moon that happened back on August 16th, 2023. You might notice themes that began back in the summer now culminating. The fixed signs (Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio)) will feel this Full Moon most intensely.
Our Lead Astrologer, Erin River Sunday, writes these horoscopes based on your Sun and Rising/Ascendant sign. Don’t know your Rising Sign? The Birthdate Book can help!
There is a major shift signaled in your communities this season, Aries. Pluto entering Aquarius spells a new you on the world stage. It’s your time to shine! There’s a lot going on this season and because a lot of the energy is shifting into Air signs from Earth, it will feel like fuel for your fire. On January 23rd, Venus enters Capricorn and your work life is graced with several weeks of ease and flow. If you have a business to pitch or a raise to request, you’re likely to receive a favorable outcome this season. Venus navigating the highest place in your chart might also have you feeling especially creative, so lean in when your muses call. The Full Moon on January 25th is yet another burst of creative energy for you, and it might be flavored with a twist of romance. Think back to August 2023 and notice if any summertime hunches are coming full circle now. The first two weeks of February are especially social for you, so strap on your social butterfly wings and get out there…there are new friends calling that will transform your life.
There is a major shift signaled in your public roles this season, Taurus. Pluto entering Aquarius transforms your reputation. You’re ready to come into your power! While this is positive news, there’s also a lot of energy moving from your stable and familiar earth energy to air energy, which might have you feeling unmoored. The challenge for you will be to embrace the progressive conversations that are unfolding without holding on too tightly to your comfort zone. Your ruling planet, Venus enters fellow earth sign, Capricorn, on January 23rd and it will soften your beckoning horizons. Even if your beliefs are starting to shift, there’s support in the process. The first two weeks of February have you shining in a very public way and should leave helpful marks on your career. Work might be busier than ever right now, but it’s aligning you with the deep reserves of power you’ve been aching to express. Let people celebrate your achievements and know that there are many more to come.
There is a major shift signaled in your beliefs this season, Gemini. Pluto entering Aquarius inspires you to go out into the world and meet new horizons. Stay open. This season is defined by a lot of earth energy lightening into air energy, which should feel like a welcomed weight lifted off your shoulders. You’re familiar with, and fueled by, air and now it seems like other people are finally getting with the program! Venus enters Caprciron on January 23rd to ensure there’s still some semblance of groundedness, and your shared resources feel the cushion. Your partner may be supporting you in newfound ways and collective undertakings will generally be smooth sailing. The Full Moon in Leo a couple days later lights up your close friendships and connections with siblings. Check-in with those that brighten up your days and remind them how much you care. Your ruling planet, Mercury, enters Aquarius on February 5th and ushers in several weeks of higher learning (possibly including travel). Curiosity will serve you this season.
There is a major shift signaled in your joint support this season, Cancer. Pluto entering Aquarius revolutionizes your access to mutual aid. Appreciate your resources. Venus is entering Capricorn, your partnership house, on January 23rd, which will solidify the bonds that are supporting you emotionally, as well as financially. Over the coming weeks, take time to celebrate the one on one connections that have transformed you over the past 15 years. Your resources are once again highlighted on January 25th, when we welcome a Full Moon in Leo. Rather than other people, though, this lunation is all about you. How have your values been impacting your bank statements, and vice versa? Celebrate the ways that you’ve been able to take care of yourself around this date, and give thanks to the abundance that seems to be all around. The first half of February takes an airy turn and conversations go back to what you share with others. Circle the New Moon in Aquarius on February 9th as an opportune time to discuss important collaborations.
There is a major shift signaled in your relationships this season, Leo. Pluto entering Aquarius spells power dynamics unfolding in your partnerships. Know your truth. Because there’s so much energy shifting from earth to eir this season, you should be feeling reinvigorated and possibly hotter than ever. But before you can celebrate on the love front, you’re also busy at work. Venus entering Capricorn on January 23rd adds some honey to your daily routines and will make mundane chores (from work to morning yoga) more enjoyable and in flow. You might especially enjoy doing your mundane tasks with friends over the coming weeks. There’s a Full Moon in your home sign on January 25th that wants you to celebrate the deep change you’ve experienced over the past six months. Celebrate being in your body and come the first couple weeks of February, you might be wanting to share it with a special someone! Note February 9th, specifically, as a great day for laying partnership foundations.
There is a major shift signaled in your habits this season, Virgo. Pluto entering Aquarius spells rebirth for your wellness routines. Notice your changing daily tasks. While no season should be defined as “good” or “bad” this one might feel more unnatural to you than others, as there’s several planets moving from earth energy (your own) into air. Luckily, on January 23rd, Venus enters Capricorn and ensures that everyone at least somewhat keeps their wits about them! For you, this means tangible applications of creativity and romance. There’s a sweetness being offered towards your inner-child (or external child, if you have any of your own) and your creative muses should bloom in response. Your planetary ruler, Mercury, will enter Aquarius on February 5th and you should watch out for any stubbornness that surfaces around your habits. Instead of being fixated on the process, try to embrace it as a means to an end. As long as the dishes get washed, does it matter who does them and how? Let flexibility lead.
There is a major shift signaled in your creative life this season, Libra. Pluto entering Aquarius spells powerful expressions of romance. Be ready to be adored. Because the biggest theme this season is earth energy lifting into air, you should be feeling super charged and in your natural element. Conversations seem to have a levity they’ve been lacking and you might find yourself floating about, remembering how beautiful life can really be. Your ruling planet, Venus, enters Caprciron on January 23rd, though, which ensures your feet (mostly) stay planted. Especially on the homefront, you’ll be feeling supported and creative in refreshing ways. Buy flowers for your room and enjoy the creature comforts being offered. The first half of February is all about your creative pursuits, which could have you finding new muses around every corner. Stay open to conversations that spark interesting ideas, or flirty dates that have you wanting to dive much further than small talk.
There is a major shift signaled in your home life this season, Scorpio. Pluto entering Aquarius transforms your roots. Notice where you feel grounded. There’s a heavy emphasis on air energy this season, which is a bit foreign to your deep and heavy waters. While that is neither good or bad, it does pose an opportunity for a different perspective. The Full Moon in Leo on January 25th will feel slightly more comfortable to you, as it’s especially fiery and expansive. Let yourself emerge from the shadows to shine on the public stage, even if just temporarily. You deserve the accolades headed your way! Your focus swiftly reverts back to the homefront the first half of February, when Mercury and your ruler, Mars, enter Aquarius. Circle February 9th, the New Moon in the same sign, for a great moment to set intentions around work/life balance. It’s a lesson you’re likely to be learning over the coming two decades, so while there’s little rush, it’s an opportune moment to plant seeds.
There is a major shift signaled in your communication this season, Sagittarius. Pluto entering Aquarius is evolving your perceptions– stay open to new information. Because you’re a fire sign, this season's preoccupation with air energy will serve as fuel to your flames. Embrace a quickness returning to your exchanges and a particular highlight on your local community. The main tether you have this season is Venus entering Capricorn on January 23rd. This spells abundance for your finances over the next several weeks, so don’t be afraid to buy yourself something nice. The Full Moon in Leo on January 25th might encourage travel of some kind, or else an inner exploration on the astral realm. Let yourself be transported around this date. The remainder of the season, into the first half of February, brings you closer to home and might have powerful conversations happening between friends and family members. This is an excavation process that will unfold over the coming decades, but notice any clues happening now.
There is a major shift signaled in your finances this season, Capricorn. Pluto entering Aquarius has you confronting your value systems and how they’re reflected financially. This is a massively different season than you will have experienced Aquarius in the past, as Pluto has finally departed your home sign. You quite likely feel like an entirely new person– and Venus entering your sign on January 23rd acts as a sweet acknowledgment of that growth. Celebrate yourself over the coming weeks and the profound transformations you navigated the past decade. The Full Moon in Leo on January 25th might have you leaning on support from the people closest to you. Whether you “need” them right now or not is of less importance than acknowledging that they’re always there when you do. The first few weeks of February are a likely more floaty energy than your grounded sign prefers, but use it as an opportunity to elevate your conversations around your values, specifically around the New Moon on February 9th.
There is a major shift signaled in your identity this season, Aquarius. Pluto entering Aquarius wants you to confront your personal power, and wield it responsibly. This is, arguably, the most important birthday season you’ve ever had! The events unfolding over the coming weeks are signaling a rebirth in your life that’s just getting started. Venus entering Capricorn on January 23rd seems to be the healing balm that will aid in this initiation. Luxuriate in the rest and solitude that’s being offered and show your affections behind the scenes for a bit. The Full Moon in your opposite sign of Leo happens on January 25th and will be a beautiful moment for your partnerships. Take time to honor the one on one connections that see you for who you truly are…and believe in who you’re becoming. Your modern ruler, Uranus, stations direct on the 27th, and you should feel a flush of forward momentum. The Universe is now giving you flashing green lights to move towards your ultimate destiny.
There is a major shift signaled in your spirituality this season, Pisces. Pluto entering Aquarius puts your intuition into overdrive– pay attention to your inner-knowing. It will be important for you to have grounding practices over the coming weeks (and years…and always) as there’s a lot of big shifts that are taking you outside the realm of reality. While developing your astral gifts is special and important, so, too, is remembering you’re still having a 3D experience day to day. Venus enters Capricorn on January 23rd, which will remind you that your best friends often act as these grounding forces in your life. The Full Moon in Leo, too, on January 25th, highlights the daily routines that light you up– and are very much part of being present in your physical body. The first weeks of February are busy ones for you, but the majority of the action will be happening behind the scenes. Whether you have a big project you’re inundated with or are simply choosing to prioritize rest, let yourself move with your natural rhythms.

Aquarian’s are beacons of the new wave. They don’t care what you think about the way they dress or the new music they just put out. They’re here to express themselves honestly, completely independent of your antiquated opinions.
Although...they do care what you think, a little. They want you to like them (though they’ll never tell) because they want to spearhead the revolution- and every charismatic leader needs a legion of loyal fans.
In this way, Aquarians are somehow removed from society, but also reflect everyone inside it. They thrive on communication, but would rather talk about you than themselves. If they come across as cold, remember they lead with their intellect rather than feelings. But don’t doubt those calculated minds… they’re informed by big hearts.
This season is about making the world a better place for the collective, and Pluto’s entrance into the sign is ensuring it’s a deep rebirth for all of us. Notice the ways technology can both help and harm, and ask yourself if you’re aligning with your communities beliefs…or if your communities are being created to cater to your own. Now is the time to initiate radical change within our friendships and dreams for the future.
Here’s how to think like an Aquarius this season:
Prepare for ideas to strike like lightning! We’ve entered the land of invention and lightbulb moments that shape society.
In addition to all the regular Aquarius season stuff, 2024 features some specific standout moments…

New Moons are a time to initiate manifestation. This is a moment to plant seeds.
Capricorn energy, at its best, is a diligent worker that intuitively knows how to get the job done. This is welcomed energy as the first New Moon of 2024 and will provide a sturdy life raft in the swirling waters of the year ahead.
The ruler of this New Moon is Saturn in Pisces, and it’s trine Uranus in Taurus and sextile Neptune in Pisces. Translation? Write down what you want to work on diligently this year– bonus points if it’s groundbreaking or disrupts the status quo in some way, and commit to showing up for it steadily over the coming months.

Sagittarius’ one on one partnerships, including marriage and business partners, will be under a lucky star in 2024. These relationships will feel expansive and supportive. You might be meeting new people that bring great joy into your life and help you grow. Creativity is also an abundant source of inspiration. You’re embracing new ways of expressing yourself and letting go of any friendships that don’t support your authentic expression. There will be intense transformation in the way you’re communicating and powerful exchanges in day to day life, and possibly in relationship to siblings.

Astrologically, Full Moons are a moment of surrender and release. This is not a time for manifestation, but a chance to reap what you’ve sown the past six months in the Cancer area of your birth chart.
Cancer energy, at its best, instinctively knows how to nurture. Ruling the Moon, our needs are always evolving, but Cancer energy somehow always knows, often without even speaking, how to take care of people. It’s also very concerned with family, so landing right around the holidays makes this lunation particularly sweet and nostalgic.
2023’s Full Moon in Cancer is also about the structures that help us grow over time. The Moon is making a beautiful sextile to Jupiter in Taurus, while the Sun is in a sextile to Saturn, suggesting that we’ll be pondering both what keeps us afloat, and the journey that the raft we built is moving us towards.
The end of the year is always a nice time to reflect, but this lunation marks a profound opportunity to both release what served us this year and look forward to where we’re headed in 2024. It’s an emotional time, but a supportive one rather than disruptive.
Think back to the corresponding Cancer New Moon that happened back on July 17th, 2023. You might notice themes that began back in the summer now culminating. The cardinal signs (Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra) will feel this Full Moon most intensely.
Our Resident Astrologer, Erin River Sunday, writes these horoscopes based on your Sun and Rising/Ascendant sign. Don’t know your Rising Sign? The Birthdate Book can help!
Mercury is retrograde in your career sector this season, Aries, so use this time to re-charge at the office. Think about the professional goals you’re setting for the year ahead and prepare for your next act. The Full Moon on December 26th will have you feeling especially nostalgic at home. Are one of your parents in special need of your attention? Your ruling planet, Mars, will transition into Capricorn on January 4th, and you’ll quite literally be ready to get back to work. After facing whatever snafus at the office you dealt with at the end of the year, you’re ready to attack 2024 goals by this time. The New Moon in Capricorn on January 11th is the ultimate fresh start for your public facing roles– so write down what you hope to manifest and get to work.
You’re focused on being transported this season, Taurus, and there might be a few snafus along the way. Don’t be surprised if things you thought were done need to be revisited. Take all the doubling back with a grain of salt, though, because Mercury will station direct come January 1st and you’re ready to explore what 2024 has to offer. You might be planning travel at the start of the year, or even committing to a book club that promises to expand your horizons. Staying open to possibilities is your MO over the coming weeks, and grand plans will likely start to make themselves known. Take all of the excitement to the next level on January 11th as we welcome the New Moon in Capricorn. Make a vision board and watch the pieces fall into place.
It’s a major period of rebirth for you now, Gemini, so welcome in the new year with open arms. And if anything is going awry in your relationships, know that the frustration is temporary. Especially by December 29th, when Venus will enter your opposing sign of Sagittarius and light up your one on one partnerships for the rest of the season. Your people will be feeling extra cozy and supportive, so lean into their support. There’s more good news come January 1st, when your ruling planet Mercury, will blessedly station direct. These periods hit you harder than most…so if the holidays were full of misdirections, know that you can get back to juggling everything as well as you usually do!
Committed partnerships aren’t for the faint of heart, Cancer, and yours will come into focus this season. You’re likely to be especially busy, so if day-to-day life becomes overwhelming, lean on your people for support. There’s a Full Moon in your home sign on December 26th, and it’s a beautiful moment for reflection. Because Chiron will station direct on the same day, you might be thinking about wounds that surfaced in 2023– and that’s ok. Honor everything you navigated by feeling it all fully, then let go. When Mercury finally stations direct on the first of January, your partnerships will be back in order and you’ll be feeling ready to take on the new year refreshed.
New Year’s Resolutions might not be for everyone, Leo, but you’re leaning into them this season– especially around your health and wellness. Notice how your creative practices are informed by your daily rituals. The Full Moon in Cancer on the 26th is an emotional moment for you– you’re likely to be in the final stages of releasing everything that unfolded in 2023, and setting the stage for your next act in the year ahead. Let yourself mourn the things that didn’t workout, but also know that a change of luck is just around the corner. Venus entering Sagittarius on December 29th spells magic for your love life as 2024 begins…and there’s more where that came from next month! Be prepared to be swept off your feet.
You’re preoccupied with pleasure this season, Virgo, and if anyone deserves it…it’s you! Count your lucky stars in love and if Mercury is causing hijinks at home, put the frustrations down on paper. The Full Moon in Cancer on December 26th is a beautiful moment to let go of anything that didn’t serve you in 2023. It’s a time of closure– but any doors that are closing for good around this date are freeing up space for something new. Thankfully, Mercury stations direct on January 1st and you’re getting things put into place for the year ahead. There’s no sign that loves order quite as much as you! The following weeks will have you feeling especially creative.
You’re revisiting your roots this season, Libra, and you might find yourself noticing pockets of joy you had previously overlooked. You’re also getting reacquainted with your community– let yourself be surprised. The Full Moon in Cancer on December 26th gives you hope surrounding a project that may have been in the works for many mo(o)nths. If you’re receiving appreciation at the office around this date, know that it has been earned and you’re worthy of the accolades! Your ruling planet, Venus, enters Sagittarius just a few days later on December 29th, and will have you ready to explore. Get out to your local coffee shop and shamelessly bat your eyelashes!
You’re bound and determined to have some serious conversations this season, Scorpio, just don’t get frustrated if others aren’t. Mercury is causing wires to get crossed over the holidays, so take your time getting where you’re going. Thankfully, Mercury stations direct on January 1st so any frustrations that were felt will be temporary. The New Year ushers in your cosmic green light to discuss whatever’s been weighing on you. A few days later on January 4th, your ruling planet enters Capricorn. This is going to stroke the fires of your friendships and might have you texting your friends a mile a minute. By January 11th we’ll witness a New Moon in the same area, so if you haven’t said what you need to say yet…now’s the time.
Mercury is retrograde in your home sign at the start of this season, Sagittarius, so be prepared to come under review. Whether you’re rethinking outfit choices, hairstyles, or your specific brand of activism– don’t be afraid to change your mind. Good news arrives at the end of the month, though, when both your ruling planet and Mercury station direct within a couple days of each other. You should feel quite the boost as Jupiter stations on December 30th– so indulge with the best of them with hope for the new year ahead. The first few weeks of 2024 will have you dialed in on your finances, so play close attention to the bottom line. While it might not always be the most fun adventure, it ensures you can pay for your next one!
Happy Birthday, Capricorn! You’re welcoming this season with a bit of a holiday hangover. Whether from working too hard or saying “yes” to too many holiday gatherings, let yourself regroup with some solo time. We welcome a Full Moon in your opposite sign of Cancer on December 26th and you’re likely to be emotional around your committed partnerships. Notice how you’ve grown and changed over the past year, and how the people closest to you have been a reflection of that maturity. There’s a lot of action in your home sign in the first couple weeks of 2024, with Mars and Mercury entering Capricorn, as well as a New Moon on January 11th. Now is your time to shine!
The holiday season isn’t always the easiest time to relish in solitude, Aquarius, but you’re craving privacy this season. The key phrase for you right now is “no is a full sentence.” There’s still fun to be had, though, especially once both Jupiter and then Mercury station direct, on December 30th and January 1st, respectively. This gives a buoyancy to ringing in 2024 and a hopefulness that may have been elusive in recent months. But you’re likely planning something behind the scenes this season, so don’t rush to put everything on full display quite yet. Take your time and rest when you need it. January 11th, the New Moon in Capricorn, is a great time for you to tap into your intuition. Notice what your soul is whispering to you about the coming year.
You’re refocusing on work matters that need your attention this season, Pisces, but friends will be an equally important piece of your 2024 puzzle. When the office gets stressful, call on your friends to recharge. Good news arrives around December 30th, when your ruling planet, Jupiter, stations direct. For the past six months or so you’ve been revisiting your big dreams, and now it’s time to move towards them in reality! Mars will enter the community sector of your chart on January 4th, followed by a New Moon on January 11th, and Mercury following suit in the same area on January 13th. As you can see, your social calendar is set to be especially busy the first few weeks of the year, so ensure you’ve allowed plenty of rest in-between. Have fun!

Capricorn people are literally the GOAT. On a constant quest towards the mountain’s peak, Capricorns teach us about hard work and dedication. Rather than an imaginative, idealized version of the future…Capricorns know what it takes day in and day out to realize our dreams.
This season will have us all rising to the occasion- by putting in the practical effort and remembering that “no” is a full sentence. Diligence and a “slow and steady wins the race” mentality is the way to the finish line!
Because Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently in Pisces, though…our boundaries are no longer a firm line. We’re learning how to go with the flow while we get things accomplished and we’re understanding that empathy along the way is just as important.
In addition to all the regular Capricorn season stuff, 2023/2024 features some specific standout moments…

New Moons are a moment of manifestation. This is a moment to plant seeds.
Sagittarius energy, at its best, is ready for an adventure. It loves to roam far and wide, seeking insights and inspiration from both the physical and astral realms. This moment calls for all of us to lean into hope and generosity for the possibility of a better world.
Make a note of the corresponding Sagittarius Full Moon that will happen on May 23rd, 2024. Whatever seeds you’re deciding to plant now will reach a new point of growth in their life cycle around that time. Think about how you’d like to be taking up space by the midway point of 2024 and begin believing in it now.
The ruler of this New Moon is Jupiter in Taurus, and it’s in a beautiful opposition to Venus in Scorpio. The two benefics looking at each other for this lunation is an auspicious signal for love on this New Moon. The Sun and Moon are also in a square to Neptune, encouraging all of us to dream big. If you’re hoping to find love in 2024, this would be a magical moment to visualize what you want in your perfect person (just don’t forget it takes two to tango– so write down how you plan to show up, too!).
The mutable signs– Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces, will feel this New Moon most intensely.

There’s no way around it…this New Moon is extremely volatile.
The Sun is approaching a conjunction with Mars at this time and things are getting heated for all of us. Because there’s also a very close opposition to Uranus, the planet of surprise, with this lunation- things are going to be getting shaken up, and fast.
If you have any secrets you’ve been protecting, consciously or otherwise, it would be a good idea to come to terms with them in advance of this period, because ready or not, they’re likely to come out either way.
Scorpio energy is intense, probing, and transformational. This energy will fight until the death and is unapologetic about getting to the truth of the matter at hand. What are your most powerful, and perhaps hidden, desires?
Remember that whatever’s happening now is still only a seed. A deeply felt, intensely powerful seed…but a seed, nonetheless. We won’t see the full power of this lunation come to light until 6 months from now, when we experience the Scorpio Full Moon on April 23rd, 2024.
Because this lunation happens a matter of days before the Sun’s conjunction with Mars (a once every 2.5 year occurrence) this lunation is even more intensely charged with manifestation potential. Think about what you want to do (Mars) to become the person you want to be (the Sun) come 2026. Getting honest with your desires now will set you up for success to reach them over the coming years.
The fixed signs (Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius) will feel this New Moon most intensely.

Astrologically, Full Moons are a moment of surrender and release. And because this is an eclipse, that notion is even more true. This is not a time for manifestation, but a fated portal of transformation. And especially because it’s ruled by Venus in Virgo, it’s a grounded look at our value systems and how they’ve been working (or not working) for us in the long run.
Venusian energy, at its best, knows how to relate to other people. The trick is that it should do so without dis-servicing itself. That’s where the Virgo energy comes in here. Virgo is all about service to other people, but it can easily become resentful if that diligent care is not acknowledged for its helpfulness and support.
2023’s Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus is the FINAL eclipse on the Scorpio/Taurus axis we’ll have for 19 more years. This moment is a powerful culmination to a much bigger story that’s been unfolding for us, collectively and individually, since 2021.
Think back to the corresponding Taurus New Moon that happened back on May 19th, 2023, and even further back to the fall of 2022. You might notice themes that began back then reaching a final resting ground.
The fixed signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius) will feel this Full Moon most intensely.

You’re super charged this season, Aries, and your inherent desire to get things moving will only be encouraged by the final eclipse in Taurus. See if you can release without burning bridges. Venus enters your sister sign of Libra on November 8th and your committed partnerships are set to feel a bit sweeter. Notice the people that seem to return balance and harmony to your life around this time. Mercury will enter Sagittarius a couple days later and send helpful beams your way. If there's a message you're hoping to put out in the world, watch the days around November 10th for the gumption to do just that.
If anyone can make a balancing act more beautiful Taurus, it’s you. The final eclipse in your home sign will urge you to reconcile your own deep wants and desires within your partnerships. This journey has been a long time coming as you've experienced upsets in this area of your life since 2021. How have your relationships changed since that time? And how have you changed as a result? October 28th is worthy of a celebration for crossing the finish line in this area- and is likely to feel quite tender, so be gentle with yourself. The New Moon on November 13th will act as a fresh start in your partnerships...use what you've learned the past two years to set intentions moving forward.
You’re ready to get back into healthy routines, Gemini, and the last eclipse in Taurus will highlight what could be sabotaging those desires. Let your intuition lead the way and if you find yourself checking out to unhealthy extremes, tune back into your wellness. While it's especially hard to be a human right now, escapism can be a slippery slope. Venus will enter your 5th house of romance and creativity on November 8th and if you don't already have date nights on the books, prepare to clear some room in your calendar. If there are any vices you're hoping to give up, or a work routine you need to commit to, circle the New Moon in Scorpio on November 13th for a great moment to plant seeds.
This eclipse season, Cancer…you’re ready to see and be seen. When you allow yourself to get vulnerable creatively, you never know what (or who) you might attract. The Full Moon eclipse on the 28th will light up your involvement within community and bring a full circle moment to your friendships. How have you put yourself out there the past couple years? Did you meet anyone that changed the way you move through the world? Take some time to reflect at the end of October and make peace with the changes that have occurred across your romantic and friendship centers. When Venus enters Libra on November 8th, you'll be more than happy to get cozy at home- and maybe begin a renovation project or two.
Always one to shine bright, the final Taurus eclipse puts your career on center stage, Leo. Notice how unpacking past trauma influences how you’re received publicly and take time to pat yourself on the back for all the growth you've experienced the past couple years. Your career has likely changed a lot since 2021, perhaps because of your home life and vice versa. Mercury entering Sagittarius on November 10th will have you processing with a creative lens, and might have paramours blowing up your phone. The New Moon in Scorpio on November 13th is an ideal moment for manifestation around what you desire at home. Pin images of your dream house and know that this area will be a place of transformation over the coming month.
Communication is the name of the game with this final Taurus eclipse, Virgo, and the conversations you’re having will go deep. Notice what’s being said- and what isn’t, and trust that you've learned a lot over the past two years. Your life has been a flurry of day-to-day activity with the eclipses along this axis, and might've involved at least one move since 2021. Notice your surroundings now and contemplate how they mirror what you've learned about the world at large. Venus will enter your financial sector on November 8th and could both help you to earn more money...and want to splurge on nice things. Pay attention to how your spending reflects your values.
Deciding what you value and why will be your biggest lesson of this Scorpio season, Libra. It’s time to get brutally honest about your allocation of resources and unpack how they've been working for you, or not, over the past couple years. The Full Moon lunar eclipse in Taurus on October 28th could bring about a big release when it comes to support from other people. If you've been expecting support, it's imminent to arrive around this date. Otherwise, it's about knowing that you've undergone a great transformation in this area of your life since 2021- you likely trust yourself more when it comes to providing what you need, and sharing it with others. Venus will enter your home sign on November 8th and make everything, including your personal appearance, more beautiful.
Happy birthday, Scorpio! You’re no stranger to intensity and this is your time to lean in. Channel your immense power while acknowledging where you must let go. Especially around October 28th, with the arrival of the Full Moon eclipse in your sister sign of Taurus, you'll be asked to release around relationships. What have you learned about partnership over the past couple years? Chances are high that you've navigated plenty of changes in this area, and come the end of October you might feel ready to both grieve and celebrate. The New Moon in your home sign on November 13th will mark the official end of eclipse season and feel much calmer than the previous few weeks. Mark it as an opportunity to plant some seeds of intention for your well-being over the next month.
Everything is bigger when it comes to you, Sagittarius, but this Scorpio season will have you focusing on the exuberance of recharging. Embrace the escape of solitude and when you need a break, give yourself permission. The Full Moon eclipse will land in your sixth house of health and wants to remind you how far you've come the past couple years. Are there wellness routines you began since 2021 that have become part of your daily ritual? Have you let any unhealthy habits go that were no longer serving you? Honor the end of October as a time to witness the practical changes in your day to day. Mercury will enter your home sign on November 10th and will create a flurry of activity. Watch for mental exhaustion, but lean into the curiosities that feel expansive.
Everyone needs time to act like a kid again Capricorn…even you. This season asks you to embrace the communities that help you to enjoy the occasional playdate- and that will hold your secrets safe. You appreciate time as an investment more than most, and now is your opportunity to honor it with reverence. Where did you spend your precious moments making new friends over the past couple years? How about for artistic endeavors? The end of October will mark a culmination in these evolutions and should be celebrated for the growth you achieved. Your ruling planet will station direct on November 4th, so if there's a big conversation you've been waiting to have, you might feel the call around this time. Then when Venus enters your career sector a couple days later, expect work matters to soften.
You’re laser focused on career matters this season, Aquarius, but don’t remember that letting go can also be fun. When struggles arise, release and see what happens. You likely experienced a lot of change between your work/life balance over the past couple years. While of course there was a global pandemic that upset many people's homes and jobs and vice versa, this rebirth was likely even more distinct for you. Give yourself time and space at the end of October to honor how much you've changed since 2021. This time marks the culmination of a massive story in your life and likely, a lot of learning lessons. The New Moon in Scorpio on November 13th will feel lighter than the weeks before it, and is an opportune time to deep dive on career matters that you care about deeply.
This Scorpio season is set to be a great teacher for you, Pisces. Whether you’re enrolled in traditional studies or not, notice what you’re learning from life around you...and take some time to appreciate the many things you've learned over the past two years time. You likely experienced major changes around your belief systems and possibly where you live because of them, and vice versa. Who are the people you met that helped you see the world differently? How did your daily routines shift alongside your wisdom? The end of October will mark a culmination to those travels- whether they were physical, mental, or both. Venus will enter your support sector on November 8th, indicating that you have resources available for moving through any remaining endings you're confronting. As ever, you know that surrender is a magically supportive tool.

Scorpio has a commanding reputation and for good reason. Traditionally ruled by Mars, and in modern astrology ruled by Pluto…power and control are hallmarks of this energy. There is an unmistakable intensity every year around this time- the niceties and peace keeping of Libra season will be tossed out for potentially ugly truths.
This Scorpio season also covers the final eclipse on the Taurus/Scorpio axis and is likely to feel like a cathartic culmination at the end of October. While this time is always intense…closing out an eclipse series in the midst of it brings the rebirth energy of the season to another level.
All of us are now beginning to tap into our most visceral desires, consciously or otherwise. It’s important to ask yourself what you’re craving and the means by which you’re willing to acquire it.
Vulnerability and shadow work are two very magical terms during Scorpio season. As part of the water element in astrology, Scorpio understands the shadow profoundly but can come up short when it’s protective of its own in spite of others.
Practicing vulnerability, instead of solely expecting others to bare their souls, is important now.
In addition to all the regular Scorpio season stuff, 2023 features some specific standout moments…

This New Moon, like all New Moons, has an air of initiation…but because it’s also an eclipse, its energy is much more intense than usual- and not one for traditional manifestation work!
As this New Moon is at the South Node, there’s something familiar here, which might also be felt as a comfort zone. But instead of leaning into it, we’re being challenged to move in the other direction. This could look like a beginning around something that we need to release, even if it makes us a bit uncomfortable to do so.
Because this is Libra + Venus energy we’re talking about, it’s likely wrapped up in relationship dynamics. If you notice a lot of breakup gossip floating around at this point in the month, don’t be surprised! But remember, this is the very FIRST Libra eclipse in the Aries/Libra series that we’ll experience until 2025. That means that this is only the beginning of a story here…and it will continue to unfold throughout all of next year.
Make a note of the following Libra Full Moon Eclipse on March 25th, 2024 to really see this energy in a bigger, bolder light.
The cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) will feel this New Moon most intensely.

This Full Moon harkens back to not one, but two Aries New Moons we had back in March and April, prospectively. Now is the time we’ll really see the seeds we planted back then taking fresh shape- and might receive more than we bargained for back then.
This Full Moon in Aries is making a connection to the planet Uranus…which is all about upsets and disruption- though they’re ultimately meant to carry us into a progressive future. That seems to suggest that while we seemingly have a fresh start underway, it’s unlikely to be one without any surprises.
Aries can be a volatile energy even without Uranus involvement, but rather than the typical “head first” or “nose dive” approach that Aries can be known for, the ruler of this Full Moon is in the sign of Libra…the ultimate peace keeper.
One part of you might be ready to get something moving (NOW!) but the other part of you knows it’s best, for everyone else involved, that you take a beat before pushing onward. Or perhaps an external entity reminds you of the other people at play and throws a wrench into things. Whatever happens, or doesn’t, something we thought would be moving forward isn’t likely to go exactly as planned.
This Full Moon is the last one we have before eclipse season begins, so it’s setting the stage for further shakeups. The end of the month is definitely closing with a bang! The cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) will feel this New Moon most intensely.
Libra season horoscopes are here! Ruled by Venus…we love to hear what you’re loving at Birthdate Co.!
Our Resident Astrologer, Erin Sunday, writes these horoscopes based on your Sun and Rising/Ascendant sign. Don’t know your Rising Sign? The Birthdate Book can help!
This season is a big one for your partnerships, Aries. The energy is high and your challenge is, as ever, to assess the opportunities that are worth diving into head first. The biggest moment of the season arrives with the New Moon Eclipse in your opposite sign of Libra. Pay close attention to the events around October 14th, as it’s just the beginning of a lesson around release for you.
Supporting others is the prime way that you support yourself, Taurus, and this season puts those values on center stage. Just remember to fill your own cup first. There’s a New Moon eclipse on October 14th that will highlight how you’ve been serving others, perhaps to your detriment. Now is the time to take care of yourself and remember what you need to truly feel healthy day to day.
It’s a flirty season for you, Gemini, and whether that’s with other people or your own creativity is up to you. Notice how your unique visions get interpreted at large. The New Moon Eclipse in Libra will remind you of your wildest proclivities, and perhaps encourage you to release something unique out into the world. Notice how people respond to your hot takes.
Things are shifting around your favorite place this season, Cancer. Home is still where the heart is, but it’s also where you’re learning to loosen the reins. That sentiment will ring especially true around October 14th, when we welcome the New Moon Eclipse in Libra. You’re making changes on the homefront, and the shifts will be potent around this time. Don’t be afraid to donate things you once loved.
Your neighborhood looks a little different this season, Leo, because you’re releasing outdated notions. Notice how your daily life reflects your new values, and vice versa. The New Moon Eclipse on October 14th might encourage you to speak up in a new way. Doing so will restore balance to your life, and ultimately lead to a transformation of your life’s philosophies. Pay attention to the messages.
Your physical resources are a place of sanctuary for you, Virgo, and this season has you counting each beautiful penny. Sharing them begets more harmony. The Libra New Moon Eclipse will expand on this energy, and perhaps remind you that letting go of a tight budget can actually serve you in the long-run. If any surprising financial happenings unfold around this date, know that they’re part of a bigger, unfolding story.
Your birthday season is definitely going to come with some fireworks this year, Libra. You’re learning to let go, though, and witnessing the magic in doing so. The biggest moment of your season includes an Eclipse in your home sign…ushering in some major changes in your life. When you’re asked to release, trust that if you can without fighting- balance will be restored.
Rest is a birthright, Scorpio, and this season reminds you to step away from the action once in a while. Pay close attention to what your intuition is guiding you to do next. The whispers of our soul don’t always make sense in a linear way, but around October 14th, you’ll be tasked with listening anyway. The New Moon Eclipse in Libra is likely to send messages through your dreams- keep a journal.
Your friendships are changing, Sagittarius, as you’ve gained a clearer understanding of the groups you’re part of and why. Shout your beliefs unapologetically this season. While it’s important to voice your opinions, though, make sure you’re also listening to others. This is especially important around October 14th with the New Moon Eclipse in Libra. If what you’re saying is challenged, don’t be afraid to hear new perspectives.
You’re on public display this season, Capricorn, and there may be a few unexpected happenings. You’re a peacekeeper at work, but ensure that includes your own. The New Moon Eclipse in Libra will make the office a hotbed of activity- so it’s best to have an open schedule if you can. Notice where partnerships come into play, and how they do or don’t serve your professional trajectory.
Beautiful ideas are a dime a dozen for you this season, Aquarius, but how you’ll integrate them is the real test. Let go of any preconceived notions and stay open. The New Moon Eclipse on October 14th in the same area of your chart will be asking you to witness new ideas about the world. Whether from a physical trip or a journey in the astral realm, your life’s philosophies are ready to evolve.
You’re in a major period of transition this season, Pisces, and you’ll intuitively know where to go next. Be patient with the process and make peace through release. Going with the flow is a quality you’re known for, and that trait will be especially important around October 14th with the arrival of the New Moon Eclipse in Libra. If your partnerships need to change, let them change like the tides.

Libra season, above all, asks us to prioritize the harmonics of two. Coinciding with the fall equinox, donning extra layers mimics our reliance on outside forces to bring us home to ourselves.
Libra energy is ruled by Venus and seems to sweeten everything it touches with a spoonful of honey. Love and beauty herald most of our pursuits this season, with balance being the ultimate integral key to happiness. Rather than being selfish, this season values harmony, intellectualizing, and love being our greatest treasure.
There is a refreshed validity to pairs of all kinds at this time- but remember that Libra rules our friendships and close business partnerships, too, not just our spouses. Emphasis should be paid to flowing communication within all relationships, especially because of heightened eclipse energy.
Libra season 2023 requires a mirror- but not purely for aesthetics. It’s mostly to remember the importance of reflection...and that everything isn’t always as it appears.
In addition to all the regular Libra season stuff, 2023 features some specific standout moments…

This New Moon is a critical turning point in the month of September. Venus has stationed direct, and Mercury will station direct just hours after this lunation. We’ve thoroughly reviewed the logistics, worked out the kinks, and are now truly ready to plant some new seeds.
And that’s just the thing to remember…whatever’s happening now is still only a seed. We won’t see the harvest of this lunation until 6 months from now, when we experience the Virgo Full Moon on February 24th, 2024.
Virgo energy is practical and discerning. It knows, perhaps better than any other sign, how to get from one place to another in both the most logical and efficient manner. This New Moon feels like buying a new puzzle and knowing you hold all the pieces of the final picture in your hands. We can begin to group the pieces into organized piles that will help the overall picture take shape…but we can’t see how it will fully come together quite yet.
The importance, here, is about trusting the process. This summer’s retrogrades brought us to this important crossroads, and while we might not understand everything to come quite yet, the pieces will soon begin to fall into place.
The mutable signs (Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, and Pisces) will feel this New Moon most intensely.
Our Lead Astrologer, Erin River Sunday, wrote these horoscopes based on your Rising sign. Don’t know your Rising Sign? The Birthdate Book can help!
Your daily life will be anything but predictable with Mercury’s retrograde through Virgo, Aries. Rather than getting fussy over your routines, decide to take a different route to work and see how it feels.
Creativity refused to be controlled, Taurus, and Mercury’s retrograde in Virgo is here to remind you of that. If there’s an old hobby you used to enjoy, or a park you used to take your nephew, circle back.
There could be a few snafus around your home during Mercury’s retrograde, Gemini, but you’re no stranger to this trickster energy. Rather than getting frustrated pursuing perfection, embrace the quirks of your domain.
When you hear from an old friend (or three) out of the blue over the coming weeks, Cancer, don’t be surprised. This Mercury retrograde is bringing people out of the woodwork- enjoy spontaneous catch ups.
Leos love the drama, and this Mercury retrograde it’s centered around your finances. What items are worthy of a splurge, and what might need to be resold? Use your discernment and make room for what’s important.
Mercury, your ruling planet, is retrograding in your home sign- making this period personal. Rather than obsessing over what could be better, practice gratitude for all the improvements you’ve already made.
If you’re working on something behind the scenes, Libra, prepare for a plot twist or two. Mercury’s retrograde is reminding you to rest is an important part of the process, too, so honor relaxation when you need it.
Be wary of any grand announcements during Mercury’s retrograde, Scorpio. This time is likely better spent honing in on your message. Don’t worry, people will still be listening when you’re ready to share.
You’re on the world’s stage this Mercury retrograde, Sagittarius, but don’t take yourself too seriously. Whatever’s being reviewed in regard to your public image will take time to fully take shape. Let it.
Downloading a meditation app before any upcoming travel would be music to this Mercury retrograde’s ears, Capricorn. Delays are inevitably frustrating, but they might also be an opportunity for learning.
What you thought was over might not be over just yet, Aquarius. This Mercury retrograde is asking you to circle back and tie up any loose ends that you’ve forgotten recently. Triple check any contracts you’re signing.
You’re a lover, Pisces, and this Mercury retrograde will remind you that love isn’t (always) easy. Don’t spiral out if you feel like you and your partner are two ships passing in the night. The confusion is temporary.

“Relax” is far from your middle name, Aries, and that’s especially true for you during this season. It’s great to focus on your health, just remember to give yourself wiggle room. Because of Mercury’s retrograde, you’re best served by reflecting on old habits rather than pushing ahead with new ones. When Mars, your ruling planet, enters Libra (your opposite sign) on August 27th, there could be some upsets in your one on one partnerships. You’ll have a lot of energy at your disposal in this area, so use it wisely. The Blue Moon on August 30th will once again ask you to retreat for a while, and heeding its call will serve you well. Something to celebrate arrives with Venus stationing direct on September 3rd, though, so circle it on your calendar! By the time Mercury is also moving forward on September 15th, you’ll be ready to take on the world with an entirely new game plan.
A secret amongst creatives is that it actually takes dedicated, daily habits to bring ideas to fruition. Block off time in your schedule for some writing this season…just don’t be surprised when what makes it onto the page isn’t at all what you expected! Mercury will be retrograde the majority of this Virgo season, inviting you to shake up your creative life. Whether it’s with your inner child or an external one, tap back into what makes you smile, just because. Your ruling planet, Venus, will station direct on September 3rd, which should make life feel much more in flow for you once again. You likely redecorated your home over the past couple months, and it will now be time to decide if you’re still in love with the furnishings. Celebrate the New Moon on September 14th by writing a love letter to your 10 year old self.
You’re quite the wordsmith, Gemini, but this season you’ll be getting reacquainted with one that rarely crosses your mind: homebody! Feather your nest and relax for a while. This restructuring of where your time is well spent is thanks to your ruling planet, Mercury. It’s hanging out in the home sector of your chart- activating the “Netflix and Chill” vibes to another level. While there could be a few annoyances (like the coffee machine breaking or Alexa acting up)- you tend to find hijinks like these amusing more than anything else. Venus stationing direct on September 3rd will bring stability back to your friendship circles and might have you wanting to attend a few parties in celebration. When Mercury also starts moving forward again on September 15th, your home will once again be a place that runs on a tight ship.
You’re focusing on your friends this season, Cancer, and plenty are reaching out to catch up. Just remember to fill your own cup before getting swept down memory lane. This is especially important during the window that Mercury is retrograde this season, as you might find the energy you have for your close friends is not at its peak. If you keep making plans that are falling through- take it as a sign to give that energy back to yourself instead. Your ruling luminary, the Moon, will experience a rare “Blue Moon” this season on August 30th. Take this lunation as a special opportunity to reflect on how much growth you’ve worked hard to attain over the past couple years. When both Venus and Mercury are direct again on September 15th, you’ll be primed and ready for reestablishing friendships that deeply align with your values.
You benefit from going over your finances with your most beautiful fine tooth comb this season, Leo. Get curious about your values to ensure a balanced energy exchange. The reason for this deep dive originates with Mercury, asking you to re-evaluate where you’re investing your precious resources. The New Moon in Virgo on September 14th is an ultimate moment of manifestation. Write down specific numbers that you’d like to see in your bank account in the next six months, and feel into the value it would bring to your life. Because Venus is also finishing up a retrograde in your home sign, by the end of this season you will have an entirely new appreciation for showing up authentically and what you’re able to receive, from yourself and others, when you do so courageously.
It’s your season, Virgo, and it may be time for a refresh. Investing in yourself should always be at the top of your to-do list. Laugh off any snafus along the way, because you can trust that there will be plenty! Your ruling planet, Mercury, will be up to trouble as it’s retrograde the majority of your birthday season. Take this as a time to reimagine how you show up in the world- down to the clothes you wear and where you part your hair. The Full Moon, a Blue Moon, in your opposite sign on August 30th will place your focus on your partnerships. This area of life is blossoming for you, and this moment is one to celebrate how far you’ve come with your beloved by your side. The following New Moon in your home sign on September 14th will be a fresh beginning for all things you and should be honored as a divine moment for manifestation.
While the public seems to always be calling, what if you realized fomo was all in your head? Your dream world can provide quiet respite this season and indulging it the next several weeks will encourage your inner wisdom to speak loud and clear. Rather than seeking external validation, you’ll be reminded how much is already within. Mars enters your home sign on August 27th, though, and you’ll be ready to take action physically, if nothing else. The next couple months will be especially strong for you in your human body. If you’ve been thinking about a new way to move through the world, literally, now’s the time to try it out. By the time Mercury and your ruling planet, Venus, are both direct on September 15th, the beauty you know and love about the world will return in full force. Buy yourself flowers!
You’re ready to be out and about this season, Scorpio, but a few wires may get crossed when planning activities with friends. Your ruler, Mars, will enter Libra on August 27th, and have you starting a project quietly behind the scenes. Whether this is your next master work, or just some quiet meditation time, you’re leaning into solitude in a big way. Triple check that group text when it comes to your friends, because Mercury will be up to trouble until September 15th. Because Venus has also been retrograde since back in July, you’ve been doing a major deep-dive when it comes to all things publicity. How do you show up in the world and the communities you call “your people?” You’ve likely been revising how you want to be seen on the world stage. The New Moon in Virgo on September 14th offers a grand fresh start with these ponderings in mind, so use it wisely.
As adventurous as you are, Sagittarius, this season has you recommitting to life at the office. Remember that no journey is linear- even at work. It’s important to stay flexible, because Mercury will be retrograde for the majority of the season. Coupled with Venus taking a backspin through Leo, you’ve been revisiting ideas around travel and how you show up in the world at large. What have you learned about yourself and your life’s philosophies lately? Do you need to work from home so you can have more freedom to travel? Or maybe you’ve learned you like the structure that office life provides. No matter the fresh perspective, come the New Moon on September 14th, you’re ready to put it into practice. Mars will also be lighting up your community sector the next couple of months, so expect a busy fall with your favorite people.
What old ideas are circling back to you this season, Capricorn? You might be on a sort of revision quest, picking up pieces of wisdom that missed you the first time around. This journey will continue through most of this season, as Mercury won’t station direct again until September 15th. Before that, though, there is a serious Blue Moon arriving on August 30th in Pisces, where your ruler, Saturn, is currently situated. This lunation will be an important one for patting yourself on the back. You’ve been working hard, and it’s time to acknowledge your persistence (at least once in a Blue Moon!). You’ve been navigating a few months of great change in your life, and by the end of this season- you’ll finally be starting to see the light. There are calmer waters for you ahead, and a clear path thanks to all the releasing you allowed. Onward!
Closure rarely happens overnight, Aquarius, and you’re likely reviewing some past lessons. It’s ok to analyze what happened, but release happens when you feel it, too. This will be especially true while Mercury is retrograde this season. Things that you thought were a done deal might not be quite as over as you had hoped- there are conversations that need to be circled back to in order to move on once and for all. On a lighter note, Mars will move into Libra on August 27th, and you might decide to book a getaway. Even if it’s only in your mind for now, allow yourself to be carried away for a while when the going gets tough. When Venus stations direct on September 3rd in your opposite sign of Leo, you’ll be counting your lucky stars. Whatever relationship issues that you were navigating will begin to smooth out.
Pisceans and love are quite literally fish and water. You’re recentering your committed partnerships this season, but remember that you’re just one half of that cherished whole. Though Venus will finally station direct on September 3rd, Mercury will start to retrace its steps on August 23rd. And especially because this retrograde in your opposing sign of Virgo, relationship issues are likely to be a dime a dozen this season. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that everything is temporary. If you need a fresh start with your lover, the New Moon on September 14th is an opportune time to talk it out and manifest how you want your relationship to feel moving forward. You’ve likely incorporated some new habits in your daily life lately, and these will serve all your one on one partnerships as well.

Virgo, like Gemini, is ruled by Mercury, which makes this sign a phenomenal communicator. This season, though…Mercury will station retrograde on the same day the Sun enters Virgo.
Coupled with the remaining weeks of Venus’ retrograde, this signals a deep “reset” theme for this Virgo season. Luckily, this sign is phenomenal at improving anything and everything, and this season will be a true testament to the sign’s ability to integrate previous learning lessons.
Virgo is associated with the sixth house of the birth chart, relating to daily habits and health. Rather than getting carried away by fantasy, this is a deeply supportive time that values precision, organization, and practicality.
We’re all best served, now, by honoring our wellness. Taking practical steps to review how we both support others and are supported in return is the medicine of this Virgo season.
This Virgo season asks, “What have you learned…and what are you planning to do about it?”
In addition to all the regular Virgo season stuff, 2023 features some specific standout moments…

This season wants you to review your creations, Aries, and you’re putting your whole heart into it. Remember that creativity isn’t a competition; it’s a gift to your inner child. An ideal day to check in with this journey is August 13th, when Venus will connect with the Sun. What have you been learning about romance lately? And how have your passions been fueled (or sidetracked) because of it? There's nothing stopping you from relishing in childlike wonder this season. If an old lesson resurfaces, take yourself out for an ice cream cone and celebrate the sweetness of knowing better now.
Family is where your heart is this season, Taurus, and you might be particularly nostalgic. Review old photo albums and display your best memories. Because of the Venus retrograde, though, it's not a time to redecorate. Maybe tape up a variety of paint chips instead, and let yourself imagine the vibe of many different options. When Pluto squares the Lunar Nodes on July 28th, you could have a revolutionary new design idea anyway- so best to not commit earlier in the season. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 1st will take some of the pressure off at home, and re-route you to your career.
Old friends might be your new favorite thing this season, Gemini. You’re excited to share dramatic stories with your favorite people, just don’t get caught in the middle of any of them! Hungry for activity around your local neighborhood because of Venus Rx, you might decide to revisiting some of your old favorite haunts. If you have a hunch about checking out an old restaurant or museum you used to love- don't hesitate! The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 1st will remind you that as fun as your local community can be, though, here's a whole wide world out there. Honor any wisdom traditions you've been studying and thank them for everything you've learned.
You might be ruled by the Moon, dear Crab, but this season you’re set to shine like the Sun. If you want to create new revenue streams, reinvest your heart first. The Venus retrograde all season long will be asking you to get clear about your values...down to where they show up on your balance sheet. Notice where you've invested, literally and figuratively, and make any course corrections necessary to realign you with what you hold dear. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 1st will have the people that love supporting you on center stage. Pay attention to the people that are always in your corner offering support.
This season (your season!) there’s no question that you’re center-stage, Leo. Reacquaint yourself with your personal style and don’t be afraid to try something new. Though Venus is retrograde- nothing can rain on your parade. Rather, think of this time as a moment to reflect on all the different ways you've shown up in the world- particularly over the past 8 years. You're in a personal renaissance now...and though similar lessons could resurface, you've learned how to make the choices that align with your higher self. When the Full Moon in Aquarius rolls around on August 1st, your committed partnerships are also set to recognize all that personal growth. Keep shining!
Quality time might look a lot like alone time this season, Virgo. Remember that “checking out" can actually be an effective way to check back in. Review your dreams. The Venus retrograde, specifically, is asking you to reflect on the importance of rest. As someone who is fed by supporting others' wellbeing- this is a moment to recognize the importance of your own. Your intuition will be a supportive tool in this journey- make a list of all the ways trusting yourself has worked out in the past, so you can be encouraged to continue. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 1st will spotlight the wellbeing of your human form, which will reflect all your emotional work.
You’re set to redefine what community means to you this season, Libra. Don’t be afraid to let go of the status quo and shine in the group the only way you know how. Friends are the name of the game for you this Venus retrograde, and you're likely setting out to establish entirely new relationships. Whether it's starting up a collective of likeminded people because the one you want to join doesn't exist- or attending an information session at an organization you've always found interesting...putting yourself out there will remind you of what you bring to the table. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 1st will highlight your unique contributions to the whole.
It might be time for a switch up at work this season, Scorpio. If it’s high time for a change, remember your worth and start preparations for the center stage you crave. This Venus retrograde is nothing to fear- but it will spur you to face your fears around shakeups in your career. Whether you need to strike out on your own, or if there's someone you've always been dying to work with...gather your resources and maybe send a few inquiry emails. While things might not be fully ready to shift into high gear, you're setting the stage now. The Aquarius Full Moon on August 1st will remind you that your home life reflects your public life, and vice versa. Ensure your foundations are stable and supportive.
Your typical modes of transportation might have expired this season, Sagittarius, and you’re looking for a new path forward. Notice the philosophies that light you up. Venus retrograde isn't meant to cause harm or create unnecessary road closures, but it will remind you that if something is under-construction, it might be more fruitful to go a different direction for awhile. Trust your detours and if they're familiar ones, know that you've already figured out how to get back to center. The Aquarius Full Moon on August 1st will bring dear friends to your aid. If you've been looking at things too big picture, they will serve to remind you of the little details that make it all worthwhile.
This season is a time of great transformation for you, Capricorn. Rebirth is at your fingertips, so embrace the silver linings of release while you prepare for a new chapter. Reflecting on the endings that occurred for you 8 years ago will be especially supportive at this time. Has anything been resurrected? Or perhaps something that died back then has created the fertile soil for what you're cooking up next. This journey will remind you that resources are never wasted- just perhaps reallocated. The Aquarius Full Moon will highlight your personal finances- you've earned your pat on the back.
“Commitment” is not a word you take lightly- now, or ever, Aquarius, and old paramours might be trying to circle back this season. Decide who is worth your time. Venus retrograde isn't simply about old relationships returning...but for you, this time, it is likely to be the most central storyline. Ultimately, this is about your values. Are they mirrored by your most important one on one connections? If not, it's time to release them, while the ones that withstand this litmus test should be celebrated with serious applause. The Full Moon on August 1st, in your home sign, will highlight everything that you personally bring to the party. Don't sell yourself short.
New habits are finding their way to you this season, Pisces, and embracing them will improve your health. Show up exuberantly to the tasks at hand and vitality will follow. Venus retrograde isn't a favorite time for anyone, but it's here to teach us something- or perhaps just remind us of something we already know. For you, these gentle nudges are likely related to your daily routine. From making that dentist appointment to getting your car washed regularly, it's the little things that add up to support your overall well-being. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 1st will grant you the permission to retreat from the to-do list for awhile and relax for a job well done.

Leo energy rules our painters and our poets, our playwrights and our performers. It’s about showing up in the world wholeheartedly and unapologetically- which leads to an abundance of charisma. Leo is like a bonfire…sizzling and show stopping, the center of the stage that keeps everyone warm and entertained.
And this year, with Venus also retrograde in Leo…we’re set to re-familiarize ourselves with our inherent creative drives. It’s a time to reflect on what our inner child once craved more than anything else, and with some bravery, to honor it. While making any permanent Venusian changes might be ill-advised, trying on different hats (literally!) will encourage this energy to sing.
With the Sun as the ruler of the season, the next several weeks are a time of remembering that no one shines in exactly the same way. The world needs each and every one of our unique hot takes and there’s no time like the present to shout them to the rooftops.

Full Moons are a moment of surrender and release. This is not a moment for manifestation, but rather a chance to reap what you’ve sown the past six months in the Capricorn area of your birth chart.
Capricorn energy, at its best, is about building strong foundations…and this Full Moon is a particularly supportive one for solidifying them! The Moon in Capricorn will oppose Mercury in Cancer, meaning that communication will be an integral part of the infrastructure we’re realizing around this time. It also trines Jupiter in Taurus and sextiles Saturn in Pisces, indicating both expansive ideas and deep wisdom as part of the working plans. Whatever is coming to light around this time can be trusted- it may have taken time to get here, but the hard work is beginning to reap its rewards.
Make a note of the corresponding Capricorn New Moon that happened back on December 23rd, 2022. Whatever happened back then is now culminating/coming full circle.
Those with personal planets between 9° and 13° of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) will feel this lunation most intensely.
The ruler of this lunation is Saturn, and Saturn is currently in Pisces, a sign that is known to dissolve the boundaries that the ringed planet demands.

It’s time to reconnect with your roots this season, Aries. While your “comfort zone” isn’t always something to indulge in, you know how to make your home a comfortable nest. Come July 3rd, though, you’ll be asked to ensure that you still have a stable work-life balance. All that time preoccupied with family, and those that feel like it, will benefit from this momentary reprieve. Trust that the Full Moon in Capricorn will illuminate boundaries that only serve to strengthen the bonds you’re cultivating. On July 17th, we meet a New Moon in Cancer as the North Node enters your home sign. This shift signals an upcoming year and a half of great strength for you.
You’re intuitive about your friendships, Taurus, and this season will have you leaning into them. Trust your gut and prepare for new beginnings within your inner circle. Especially once Mercury joins this area of your chart on June 26th, you could be very busy with your local community- notice how you reflect those around you. The biggest news this month, though, is on July 17th. There will be a New Moon in Cancer, once again highlighting the way you communicate with your near and dear, as the North Node enters Aries. You’re being invited to embark on a spiritual journey over the next 18 months…the collective unconscious awaits.
What you value doesn’t have to be a fixed, or finite, resource, Gemini. This season you’re being reminded to go with the flow when it comes to your finances. The Full Moon in Capricorn on July 3rd will provide additional perspective around the support you receive from others. It’s not all about the money you bring in on your own accord, but how the people you’re committed to provide security, too. When July 17th rolls around, you’ll be ready for a couple (your favorite!) of fresh starts. With the Cancer New Moon, you’re set to learn that money is simply energy…and with the North Node entering Aries, you’re moving towards your ideal communities.
Happy birthday season, Cancer! You’re likely to be especially “in your feels” over the coming weeks. Trust your intuition about where you want to go next, specifically come June 26th. Mercury will enter your home sign on this date, and your feelings could get jumbled. If your mind starts to confuse things, come back to your body and what it’s telling you. The Capricorn Full Moon in your opposite sign on July 3rd will pull focus to your partnerships and how they act as your ultimate mirrors. It’s a good omen for the relationships that act as solid containers for your feelings. The New Moon in your home sign arrives on July 17th, coupled with the North Node entering Aries. You’re ready to stand up for yourself in entirely new ways.
Attention follows wherever you go, Leo, but this season is about shining that spotlight on your inner world. Especially come June 26th, you could be receiving loud and clear messages from the subconscious realm. Pay close attention to your dreams and notice the intuitive signs. The Capricorn Full Moon on July 3rd will turn this dreamstate on its head- asking you to integrate your deeper knowing with real world action. Then finally, the end of the season finishes with a bang. The Cancer New Moon arrives on July 17th, alongside the North Node entering Aries. Both of these moments mark a commencement of deep exploration. Relish in some sacred alone time; wisdom awaits.
“Community” is definitely a buzzword these days…but what does it really mean to you, Virgo? This season asks you to connect with the groups that feel like home. Mercury will take a quick spin through this area of your chart come June 26th, and you might be voicing your opinion to the collective. The Capricorn Full Moon a week later will remind you that your individuality also deserves its place on the stage. Allow your inner child to be a voice in the room! By the time the Cancer New Moon arrives on July 17th, you’re ready to be truly transformed. The organizations your part of will be integral to your North Node in Aries rebirth.
Are you baking cookies for the office again, Libra? This season is all about how nurturing is intrinsically connected to how you show up in the world. Just remember that being vulnerable, especially once Mercury enters Cancer on June 26th, includes speaking up for your own needs. The Capricorn Full Moon on July 3rd will pull your focus back to your root systems, reminding you that it’s easier to show up for others when your foundations are stable. The grand finale of the season arrives on July 17th, with both a New Moon in Cancer and the North Node entering Aries (thus the South Node entering your home sign). Be ready for partnerships that help you feel truly seen.
It’s time for a trip to the nearest body of water, Scorpio, and don’t be afraid to shed a few tears. You’re ready to adventure through the emotional planes this season. When Mercury enters Cancer on June 26th, your emotions might encourage you to delve into a new wisdom tradition. The following few weeks are ideal for library visits and discovering new spirituality podcasts. And this is just the beginning, because on July 17th the North Node enters Aries on the same day as a Cancer New Moon. You’re ready for an entirely new journey, and your daily routines and rituals are ready to transform to help you get there.
This season is about endings for you, Sagittarius, which is really just about letting go. Remember that moving on isn’t the same thing as forgetting the past. When Mercury enters Cancer on June 26th, it’s an ideal time to talk (and cry!) it out with a therapist, or reflect on some old journal entries. Communication will be key in transmuting your past wounds. The Cancer New Moon on July 17th is encouraging this transformational path, and reminding you to stand in your power while you walk it. With the North Node entering Aries on the same day, the next 18 months are set to be a crash course in reconnecting with your creativity, and acknowledging it as healing medicine.
Partnerships take center stage for you this season, Capricorn, and you can’t be serious about anyone without an emotional connection. Honor your feelings, and theirs. And when Mercury enters Cancer on June 26th…talk it out. Your default setting is less direct within partnerships, but this astrology wants you to name what’s going on in your mind- not just your heart. Processing together earlier in the season will serve you, because come July 17th, you’re ready for a fresh beginning. Whether it’s a current relationship or an entirely new one, the North Node enters Aries on the same day and wants you to take action around your most meaningful foundations.
Your day to day life is set to be emotional this season, Aquarius, which isn’t your default setting. However, the Universe is asking that you rise to the occasion and lean into your feelings, especially come June 26th. Rather than relying on your intellect alone, ask yourself how your heart and your head can work together to make both thoughtful and intuitive decisions. This task will be especially supportive come July 17th when we have both a New Moon in Cancer and the North Node entering Aries. Your friends will be a critical tool for you when it comes to resetting your emotional landscape from 9-5. Lean into their listening ears.
Creativity is the name of the game for you this season, Pisces, and you’re emotionally invested in the outcome. Whether this life force energy looks like parenting fur babies, your art projects, human children, or all of the above…your nurturing ways are in high demand. Come June 26th, you might be ready to express your desires in a new way- especially if your own needs have been left unmet. A New Moon in Cancer arrives on July 17th, and it’s an ideal time to tap into your inner child and any unprocessed history that needs to be expressed. The North Node enters Aries on the same day, asking you to take charge of your finances, and understand their connection to your self-worth.

We celebrate the Summer Solstice every year on June 21st, and astrologically, we celebrate the first day of Cancer Season. Cancer is the FIRST water sign. While its energy is known for being a bit passive-aggressive (Cancer people hate to hurt anyone’s feelings), never doubt that as a Cardinal sign, they’re some of the hardest working people out there.
Cancer is the great cosmic Mother. These are our pack leaders who intuitively know what everyone needs and can take care of others in profoundly psychic ways. The drama can happen when they forget to show themselves the same level of care.
Cancer is associated with the fourth house of the birth chart, relating to the home and ancestral roots. Rather than the attention being directed outward, it’s a deep, cathartic flow into the subterranean foundations of the soul.
Cancer is ruled by the Moon, which is all about sensitive emotions and hidden realms. Like the Moon, Cancer people tend to shy away from the bright lights, preferring the protective comfort of their private home life.
This season asks us to get into our feels and acknowledge who and what makes us feel held. It's a time to trust our guts, literally and figuratively, and remember that reparenting ourselves requires unpacking emotional baggage.
