What are Birthdate Candles made from?
Birthdate Candles are poured with an all-natural blend of soy, coconut, and apricot wax and custom natural fragrance oils. The vessel is a reusable and recyclable premium glass jar with a 100% cotton wick.
Where are Birthdate Candles made?
The candles are all hand-poured with love in small batches in the Northeast USA.
How did you develop the scents?
We worked hand-in-hand with master perfumers to craft bespoke fragrances based on the personality traits identified in the astrological readings. The personalized scents are woodsy, mystical, and floral — they are custom-made to calm and soothe the spirit of the recipient.
How long will my candle last?
Each candle burns for 60-80 hours, providing a long, beautiful, and clean burn.
Can the glass be recycled or reused?
Absolutely. Because of the personalized custom label, you wouldn’t want to wash the outside of the glass. That said, each glass makes a great pen cup, make-up brush holder, a stash for crystals or tarot cards...the possibilities are endless.

What size are the candles?
The candles contain 13.5 ounces of wax, which provides a long, beautiful burn of 60-80 hours. They’re about 5.5’’ tall and 3’’ wide, making a perfect-sized centerpiece for your desk, bookshelf, side table, etc.

How can I track my shipment?
We’ll send you a UPS tracking number as soon as we ship your candle out, up to about 1 week after order confirmation. We can’t wait for you to receive your candle!
How long does it take for my order to ship?
Since every single one of our candles is personalized to the day, it can take up to 1 week after ordering for them to ship.
Do you ship internationally?
At this point, we’re only shipping to addresses in the United States. But we hope to expand internationally soon — please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a specific country request.

What do I do if I received the wrong product or something is wrong with my order?
Oh no! We’re sorry that happened. Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll make sure your issue is fixed.
My candle came damaged. Can I exchange it?
That’s a bummer. Send us a picture at email@example.com and we’ll take it from there to get you a new candle.
How can I return or exchange my order?
We can only take returns or exchanges for unburned candles still in their original state. But we want you to be happy with your order — please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any issues.
Can I send this as a gift?
Definitely! Birthdate Candles make a thoughtful, unique gift for any occasion. You can include a gift note at checkout, which the recipient will see when they receive their order!
Can I include a gift receipt?
Yes — there’s no price information on the packing slip, so you won’t need to worry about your recipient seeing the price. You will be able to include a gift message during the checkout process that your recipient will see when it arrives!
